Schoenhaus Endorses Santorum

But Will Ultimately Support G.O.P. Nominee

Scott Schoenhaus of the blog The 7 Train would like to see Rick Santorum win the Republican nomination, and ultimately the next president of the United States.   If it does not work out that way, Schoenhaus will support Mitt Romney or whoever represents the Grand Old Party in the general election against President Barrack Obama.  Santorum is the preferred choice because he has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be the real conservative alternative and best suited to create a limited government program we can live with, leading to a balanced budget, resulting in prosperity and the resurrection of the American Dream.

This campaign is making history.  With the 10 states won, Mr. Santorum has proven he can win in the West, South and Midwest.  Not since Ronald Reagan in 1976 has a conservative candidate won as many states as we have.  According to Republican strategist Ralph Reed, It is an impressive feat.

The Romney campaign and Super PAC are determined to stop this history making run.  Short on positive ideas they are firing off negative attacks that are outright lies about Mr. Santorum’s conservative record in an attempt to confuse voters in key upcoming states such as Illinois, Louisiana and Wisconsin.  But thanks to a grass roots campaign of ordinary people like you and me doing the extraordinary, the Romney steamroller though still in the lead, is stymied.  We don’t have to take over first place, we just have to stop Romney from achieving 1144.  Now that Republicans of the moderate, conservative establishment and Tea Party are being convinced Santorum can beat Obama in the general, the advantage shifts to his favor in a brokered convention.  Key endorsements, financial stability, and a steady flow of capital is all power brokers need to support [your] candidate and redistribute delegates.  This would be the first contested convention since 1976 (Ford over Reagan) and the first brokered convention since the Republican nomination of Wendell Wilkie way back in 1940.  And nobody deserves this distinction more than family values, God fearing, compassionate conservative Rick Santorum.  We just have to hope he does not run out of money.  One thing Mitt Romney has going for him is a deep well of cash no other candidate can match.  It should not be about the candidate with the most money, but the best person to lead America back to its lofty status of the Greatest Country in the World with more freedom than any other nation and where Americans regardless of income class birthright can overcome and live the American Dream.

Let’s hope he is still in the race by April 24 so we can all proudly bubble his circle on the optical scan ballot used in Connecticut.  I would like him to come to Connecticut for a rally right before that.  He has a bigger following in the Nutmeg State than most people think.  Connecticutites are fed up with gasoline prices and cannot take four more years of Obama’s socialism, taxation, and support for European gas prices.  Rick has a strategy for tapping into domestic oil supplies that will bring the cost down for everyone, along with a plan to create jobs.  It is time to revive those old time conservative values, folkways, and morays, and Rick Santorum is the man to do it.
